POSITION:
Proprietary Equities Trader
SUMMARY:
SMB Capital is a boutique
proprietary trading desk located in Downtown NYC that focuses exclusively on
trading equities.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
We are offering the opportunity for experienced financial professionals to apply to SMB Capital to become prop traders on our desk. Applicants will undergo multiple rounds of interviews before being hired by the Firm. New traders will undergo five weeks of extensive
training that will cover a wide variety of topics ranging from trading
fundamentals to technical analysis. Upon successful completion of training,
traders will be given an individual account to trade firm capital.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor`s degree required
* Minimum 2+ years IB, Sales&Trading,
or Financial Services experience preferred
* Strong analytical aptitude
* Interest in the US Equity Markets
* Ability to work in a high pressure
environment
COMPENSATION:
Performance-based as a percentage of
individual prop trading profits
